Those of you who are not on twitter, please feel free to fill the comments with complaints about how the kids these days are wasting their lives with electronic gimcrackery.
For the record, FLG is staunchly anti-twitter and considers it utter gimcrackery.

There's something very unpleasantly Washington about her quip and the quip she's responding to, as if knowing about a minor development in a Congressional debate one minute after it happens makes you superior to those of us who might not find out until an hour or two later. I imagine these things are status markers for professional bloggers/journalists/pundits when they meet at Sunday cookouts in Columbia Heights, but jeez, it must be exhausting.
