South Africa's governing party has pronounced that eating sushi off the body of a model in a bikini is politically incorrect.
Not only politically incorrect, but also "defamatory," "insensitive," "undermining of woman's integrity," and FLG's personal favorite "antirevolutionary." Would it have been okay if the models had been wearing Che t-shirts?

The real quote of the day -- which I won't point to -- invokes the name of a famous economist as a potential source of marital advice.
The author is young enough that he must not know that the economist's first wife committed suicide more than forty years ago. The following day, her grieving husband showed up for his scheduled lecture, and spoke -- with eerie detachment -- about how one puts a value on human life.
