Paul Krugman’s 1994 article on “The Myth of Asia’s Miracle” was written before China had gotten rich enough to be generally considered miraculous. But as I’ve passed these ten days in China, I’m increasingly convinced that it’s must-reading for understanding China’s medium-term economic prospects.

Really? FLG has been saying the exact same thing for years and didn't even have to go to China to figure it out because he, you know, like, knows stuff about economics and thinks. Then again, maybe being an economic dilettante and increasingly partisan hack would've been a better choice because they get, you know, like, free trips to China.
