Hideous Choice

A post over at Photon Courier left FLG with a horrendous thought about Western Europe. What if, when push comes to shove, there must be a choice with anti-Semitic Islamic radicals on one hand and Jews on the other? Do they make the choice out of fear of exacerbating violence in the short-term? Or do they make the choice that violent groups have no place in an open democracy?

I wouldn't rely on any government in Western Europe except France and Britain to make a stand against anti-Semitism in the crunch. And even then it's 50-50.

Also, consider (as I think I've said before) that the only force that will stand against Islam may be right-wing nationalists who are also anti-Semitic.

They try to avoid the choice until all the Jews have emigrated.

The hell of it is what does the EU do about Turkey? Embrace Turkey and Islam becomes the de facto state religion. Jews would do well to hightail it out of there and the Christian remnant had better arm themselves or reacquaint themselves with the concept of martyrdom.

"If Jerusalem falls into the hands of the Muslims, Athens and Rome will be next. Thus, Jerusalem is the main front protecting the West. It is not a conflict over territory but rather an ideological battle, between the mentality of the liberated West and the ideology of Islamic barbarism," he said.
