Reasonable Person

FLG caught an interview, which doesn't seem to be posted on the website yet, with Dean Baker about his book False Profits: Recovering from the Bubble Economy.

It was clear from the get-go that FLG and Mr. Baker are on opposite sides of the political aisle. But unlike Paul Krugman, who has become a mere polemicist in his popular writing, and the numerous other people on the left who know nothing about economics (See Klein, Naomi), Mr. Baker sounded like a reasonable person with whom FLG could disagree.

Mr. Baker's blog, Beat the Press, seems to support this assessment.
