Education is priceless or worth a hymen

Telegraph:
A student who is auctioning her virginity to pay for a masters degree in Family and Marriage therapy has seen bidding hit £2.5million ($3.7m).

Now, you are probably saying to yourself that I've posted on things like this before. What's the big deal?

The student who has a degree in Women's Studies insisted she was not demeaning herself.

...her sister Avia, 23, paid for her own degree after working as a prostitute for three weeks.

Something's rotten in Denmark, I think to myself.

My study is completely authentic in that I truly am auctioning my virginity but I am not being sold into this. I'm not being taken advantage of in any way.

Emphasis mine. Her study? As an economics student, I think to myself. Ah, I see. She's using an auction to put a price tag on virginity.

It's shocking that men will pay so much for someone's virginity, which isn't even prized so highly anymore

She's making some political point here. Plus she's an attention seeking buffoon. I picture her as the kid in the front of the class always expounding there simplistic political ideas as if they alone had ever thought them.

Anyways, sweetheart, and I say sweetheart in a conscious effort to condescend to your attention whore ego, female virginity will always be prized because evolution made men of jealous sexual relations. Why? Because they cannot ever be 100% sure that a baby is theirs. At least, until recently with paternity tests. But evolution happened well before the invention of those tests and it ain't about to reverse itself. So, get the fuck over yourself. Get a real job and stop making political points.

I bet that she's going to use the money to pay for her Women's Studies Masters, and then use the experience as her thesis and hope to get a big book deal. But she probably won't go through with the sex and I seriously doubt that she's a virgin.

Not to sound crude but...I just wonder what a woman's Anal Virginity would fetch.

P.S. That's "Fetch" not "Feltch."

In the interst of accuracy why not just change the name of your blog to "Misogyny in Georgetown"?

What precisely is misogynistic about that post? Selling her virginity is something to be celebrated? Or do I have no right to judge her actions? Or am I wrong about paternity being difficult to determine where maternity is absolute?

When you claim that a man cannot ever be 100 percent sure that a baby is his, you are also saying that women cannot be trusted. All women evidently. And that offends me and, I would guess that it would offend most women. And I'm not so sure you speak for all men - I would imagine some have evolved beyond your way of thinking, even if you have not. I do not claim that selling her virginity should be celebrated, Frankly, it's not my business so I'm not even going to speak to the actions she is taking. You are of course entitled to your misogynistic opinions!! And I'm entitled to disagree. (How's Miss FLG??? No one will think this is is a baby blog if you post pics occasionally, promise!)
