Dear Alan:

I prepared a mock-up of the new title font. I have no idea how to do it right now, but this is what it would look like. The problem is that I have to actually create an image and then insert it where the title is because if it is just a normal font then everybody who reads the site would need to have the Jefferson font installed, which they won't. No Jefferson font installed on their computer, then it just reverts to Times New Roman or some shit.

Sincerely,
FLG

Perfect. Pull the trigger as soon as you are able. Thanks.

I once had a job that involved me looking at a lot of letters by Thomas Jefferson (many of them about how he owed people money and was gonna pay them real soon now), and yeah, that's not a bad font. I don't think it looks like his handwriting, in my vague memory, but it's certainly got that late 18th century feel.

Incidentally, Alan if that's your blog, I was going to go look at it lastthread, but your blogger profile was locked and took me nowhere. Letting you know in case that's not on purpose, because blogger profiles suck.

Dance, my blog is on space purchased to run the Iraq Transitional Assistance Group page, so you can find it at blog.iraq-itag.org or via the link on FLG's list of blogs he reads. This is an essay site that sees a new post at a paltry rate of one or two per month. Shorter and more frequent comments are at myspace.com/occdis.

Thanks for the feedback on the font. Must have been quite an experience to have that insight on Jefferson.

Cheers.
