FLG has been catching up on some reading and, as per usual, has some thoughts:
Why is a Osprey needed when a C-130 could do the exact same thing depicted here while carrying more marines? I'm beginning to come to the conclusion that the Osprey sounds great on paper, but it too expensive, complicated, and temperamental to field. Let's just call it quits and use helicopters and planes.
Royal Marines are badasses.
Everybody, the press, imams, governments, everybody should decry the hideousness of "involuntary martyrdom" from the fucking minarets.
I wish this were true, but I'm not sure that it is. Israel isn't winning the media battle by any means.
A cyberwar test range sounds like fantastic idea, but I have absolutely no clue how one could design an effective version even if money were not an object. It's like trying to recreate the solar system or something.
