Apostrophes
Apostrophes are confusing? Really? I would argue that they clarify whether a word is a plural or a possessive. What the fuck is wrong with England lately?

The road signs have merely caught up to reality.
Long ago England decided it was a pluralistic society, not a possessive one. Hence no more need for apostrophes.
Rather an unusual decision for a country that does not enjoy the separation of Church and State.
