North Pole and the big red dude's HQ is about a twenty-minute drive down the road from where I am staying with my daughter, son-in-law, and grandkids. Since I sleep on the living room floor, I had to get up and move out of the way when he made his stop here on his way home. He was a bit sleepy while I offered a spirited defense of the five-year-old boy and two-year-old girl, but he responded favorably. The two little rascals made out well. Having visited with Mr. Claus at his HQ during previous visits here, I can attest to his constant good humor which never fails to remind everyone of the true reason for the season...PRESENTS!
