The previous post reminded me that Journey has a new singer from the Philippines, named Arnel Pineda, who sounds exactly like Steve Perry. Very impressive.

That crosses over from impressive to kind of disturbing. He's like Carol Channing doing Steve Perry.
I totally agree with this assessment, with the exception of *impressive*... just leave it as kind of disturbing...no... very disturbing!
There is only ONE STEVE PERRY, one of the most gifted performers to ever hit the stage. STOP with the imposters...and bring back the REAL DEAL.
In life, no one is ever indispensable, not even the great Steve Fairy...I mean, Steve Perry. True, he was a gifted performer but to unequivocably imply that he is the only "real deal" is rather presumptuous. No less than Jonathan Cain, Neal Schon and Kevin Shirley themselves are one in saying the Arnel Pineda is also "the real deal". SP and AP both came from humble beginnings but IMO, AP is the more versatile and vocally gifted of the two.
