A recent comment thread over at The Feast of Nemesis sparked this list:
1) Sean Connery - Indisputable, but Diamonds Are Forever is a travesty.
2) Pierce Brosnan - Good, but no Connery
3) George Lazenby - On Her Majesty's Secret Service is a good movie.
4) Daniel Craig - I would have preferred Clive Owen
5) Roger Moore - Think he is too low? Watch Moonraker again. I would've added A View to a Kill because of Grace Jones, the awful plot, and Moore's overall swarminess, but its pros are Tonya Roberts, Alison Doody, and Chris Walken.
6) Timothy Dalton - Both the Bond movies he was in sucked.
