Clinton's Speech

I think Hillary's speech tonight will be the end of not only her presidential, but political career. It was completely classless to give a campaign speech when it should have been a concession speech. It was the wrong speech at the wrong time with the wrong over and undertones.

Perhaps Democratic, New York voters will forgive and forget this speech, but they shouldn't. It demonstrated that she is out for herself, not her party or her country. It's look out for number 1. Everything and everybody else be damned, including common courtesy and good judgement.

I wonder what other people are saying. I will check when I wake up.

So, who needed a demonstration after the White House Travel Office? Everything after that is just confirmation. dave.s.

I made two assumptions:
1) That their accusations of a Vast RW Conspiracy were politically, not psychologically motivated at the time.
2) They would have learned something from the experience.

This election changed my mind to the point where I believe the vast RW conspiracy theory was a political manifestation of their paranoid psychosis, and that they didn't learn anything from it at all because they are 1) crazy and 2) evil.

I am not sure if it was you or Withywindle who asked why she would be a great White House Chief of Staff, but I have changed my mind on that too. She couldn't ruin her campaign competently. She didn't run health care reform competently. She can't run anything competently. Lots of people are saying Obama should offer Hillary this or that consolation prize. His offer should be like Michael Corleone's -- Nothing.
